This past Saturday, I traveled about an hour to Halifax for the Liptak wedding at the Armstrong Valley Winery!
If you’ve never been there, be sure to check it out.
You can walk around their vineyard and of course, taste and purchase their delicious wine. I did not have a sip as I kept it strictly professional! But from the guests’ feedback, it was terrific.
I was really looking forward to this wedding because Nadja and Darren are such nice people. I met with them in Hershey a ways back and we talked over a cup of hot chocolate. It was relaxing, fun and engaging. I really enjoyed talking with them and getting to know them better. I knew their wedding day was going to be special.
I provided the sound for their ceremony and even though it was a very hot and muggy day, it was a beautiful ceremony location.
After the cocktail hour, we popped into the reception area which was a welcome sight, because, two words… air conditioning!!
I really liked this venue, it had a very open seating layout but felt very intimate and cozy. The venue’s staff were very accommodating and a pleasure to work with as well.
Darren and Nadja had a selfie stick out for their guests to have fun with. I didn’t see any of the pics on the phone, but looking over from time to time, I’m sure there are countless gems on there!
They also had a nice framed painting that they wanted everyone to sign.
I love little touches like that. Those are the things that you can hold onto forever and remind you of that day where everyone came together to support you.
The rest of the night was filled with dancing and oh yeah, more dancing. Darren and Nadja’s family and friends were so much fun.
Congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Liptak, enjoy St. Martin!
