This past Saturday, I spun tunes at the Baughman Wedding (Matthew & Kristin) at the Farm at Eagles Ridge (Lancaster).
I was supposed to provide sound for the ceremony (outside), cocktail hour (outside) and then the reception inside the barn.
But, mother nature had different plans and the rain came pouring down. Heavy at times, and pretty consistent.
The ceremony was transitioned into the barn, and I’ll tell you what, the barn is absolutely beautiful, and just as perfect a setting. Other than the rain, everything went smoothly. The ceremony was short and sweet and we went outside to the cocktail hour, which was underneath a tent/canopy. Whoever installed this covering knows exactly what they’re doing because it was well constructed and wasn’t blowing around at all with the heavy rain!
After introductions, first dance, toasts and dinner, we were off and running, or should I say, dancing!
Matt and Kristin’s family and friends were so much fun. They didn’t mind that people requested songs, and it was a quite diverse request list of songs throughout the night. Their family and friends danced the entire night and only stopped when we organized the big sparkler send-off!
Congratulations to Matt & Kristin Baughman!
