Redline Recap

May 31st was a busy one for the ProVolve Entertainment Team – Declan has his recap of the Redline Wedding:

“I had the pleasure of providing the tunes for Jeff and Ashley Redline this past Saturday, at the Susquehanna Club. Such a beautiful venue, for two wonderful people. It was my first time spinning tunes at this venue and I must say, they were top-notch. Great staff and well organized.

During the ceremony, Ashley walked into Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo’ole and she looked stunning. I can’t help but smile when I see a couple first see each other on their big day. It’s special to be a part of their day.

During the cocktail hour I spun some laid back tunes like Jack Johnson’s “Better Together” to 311’s “Amber” to Otis Redding’s “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay.”

Shortly after dinner we played the shoe game – the point of the game is to ask the couple questions, and they both answer by putting their own shoe or the other’s if it rings true. It’s hilarious and actually a lot of fun!

The Dollar Dance had easily the longest line I’ve ever seen at a wedding, they probably paid for their honeymoon!

The dance floor was jumping all night, with the Cupid Shuffle, Talk Dirty, Blister in the Sun, Give Me Everything and even Old Time Rock n Roll in the mix. Yep it was a great night of eclectic sounds and hot beats. When you have two families and sets of friends who come together in celebration and are down for anything musically, it’s a real treat! You can really go on a cool journey of “what’s next!”

Overall a fantastic wedding and one that I won’t forget anytime soon!

Congrats Mr. & Mrs. Redline!”
