Mike and Eric’s most recent wedding, on August 22, was a lot of fun. The day, the couple, the party – it was all a blast!
A Breezy View Overlook Wedding Ceremony
Mike and I set up at Breezy View, which is part of Chickies Rock County Park in Lancaster County (Columbia-area).
If you’ve never been there, it’s an amazing location for a wedding ceremony. There’s a gazebo which is where the ceremony was held. But the most amazing aspect of this location is the view of the Susquehanna River – absolutely breathtaking!
I met John and Kayce through a good friend of the ProVolve Family, Laura Brown of Laura Brown Photography.
It turns out, at the time, Kayce and I worked for the same organization (the Department of Labor & Industry), and we occasionally ran into each other at work.
We met at Barnes & Noble in 2014 and right away, I knew their party would be a lot of fun! They were both very laid back about their music selections, but one thing was clear: they wanted a party.
After John and Kayce became Mr. and Mrs. Stoffa, everyone made the short drive to Enck’s Catering in Manheim, PA for the Reception.
We played a nice mix of Classic Cocktail Hour music which included Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Stan Getz, and Dave Brubeck.
After housing some Swedish meatballs and some fine cheeses, it was time to introduce Parents and the Bridal Party.
The Parents walked into the Hall & Oates classic, “You Make My Dreams”
The Bridal Party entered the reception to DJ Snake & Lil Jon’s “Turn Down for What”
And the newlyweds made a grand entrance to TI’s “Bring ‘Em Out”!
Right after their huge entrance, John and Kayce danced their first dance together as husband and wife to Chris Young’s “Who I Am With You”.
Dinner was a nice mix of modern pop love songs.
Oh and dinner food was incredible as usual. Little trivia fact: ProVolve’s Mike and his wife, Jenny, had their wedding reception at Enck’s back in 2008. One of my favorite memories was of the food (oh and catching the garter, which I then awkwardly had to place on Mike’s sister’s leg, haha).
Open Dance Floor
So the dance party got a bit wild. That’s an understatement.
It started off nice and innocent, but ended up veering off toward some Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa, and some fun 90s hip-hop throwbacks!
Oh yeah, we set up our photobooth! Check out the photos here.
A Most Amazing Party!
It was a very fun time. Very wild, too. Haha.
Thanks for a great wedding! Enjoy your honeymoon!
