This past Saturday, I drove an hour and a half to Wilmington, DE, to the Bellueve Hall to celebrate with Tim and Ella and 150 of their friends and family.
If you’ve never been to the Belleveue Hall, it’s a beautiful venue with such an elegant style about it. Tim and Ella even took it one step further and had their dinner underneath a tent, right next to the mansion. And seeing as it was a perfect day/night, they couldn’t have picked a better day for it.
The ceremony was held outside the mansion where I provided sound. Ella’s cousin played Pachelbel’s Canon in D on acoustic guitar, which was a nice touch.
20 minutes later, we were off to the cocktail hour with jazz and blues music setting the fun and upbeat atmosphere.
An hour later, we found ourselves underneath the tent for introductions, toasts, and of course, dinner!
It wasn’t long before we all headed inside to dance the rest of the night away. I played a collection of old and new as it was a very age diverse crowd. They were a lot of fun, and even had great requests!
Sample of music:
James Brown – Get Up Offa That Thing
Robin Thicke – Blurred Line
Michael Jackson – Beat It
PitBull – Time of Our Lives
Chubby Checker – Twist
Isley Brothers – Shout
Marky Mark – Good Vibrations
Blackstreet – No Diggity
It was a blast celebrating with the couple, congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Abate!!
