Hey everyone! A few weeks back, I, Michael, had the pleasure of helping Stephanie and John become the Bixlers!
It was truly an awesome night and I had a blast. I tried to take as many pictures as I could because Stephanie and her family/friends really put a lot of effort into making those small details shine.
When I first met with them, Stephanie and John had a great sense of what they were looking for in a DJ. They definitely didn’t want a cheesy DJ, someone who stole the spotlight from their big day. As soon as that was out in the open, I knew they were meeting with the right people. We don’t like to make the day about us, and we do everything we can to make sure that all the glory and honor goes to the newlyweds. It seemed like we were off to a great start, and so we started talking about music.
The Bixlers wanted something upbeat, contemporary, and romantic for cocktail hour, and provided me with a bunch of ideas. In the end, we settled on this:
For dinner, they were looking for something more down-tempo, some country mixed in, but still definitely romantic. This is what we came up with after they gave me a bunch of ideas to get started:
When it came time to dance, they were ready to party! We had a great time playing all the hits from every generation. Their friends and family were awesome and just an absolute pleasure to work with. We wish them luck in the future and hope they are as happily married as we are!
