This past Saturday, I (Declan) had the great honor of providing tunes for the 1st ever, Battle of the Bands internal competition for Clair Bros, Clair Global, Tait Towers, and Atomic Design!

It was a fun night with all the proceeds going to ASAP Lititz – Action for Substance Abuse Prevention. They aim to provide an increased level of awareness, education, support, solutions and networking to the abusers of heroin and prescription drugs and their family members.

The 4 bands, two from Clair (Clair Bros., Clair Global), one from Atomic, and one from Tait Towers, were AMAZING!!

The bands consisted of employees from each company, and had 6 weeks or so to practice 3-4 songs. They covered Rage against the Machine to Journey and Muse to other classic bands/songs.

I spun music as people entered the venue, during the setup/breakdown time between bands, and for a bit of dance time after the winner was announced – (Atomic!).

The event went so well with over 400 people attending, that they are planning to have it again next year!
