Back on May 9, 2014, I met Luke Diffenderfer at a wedding at the Hamilton Ballroom, in Lancaster. He was working with the catering company that day. After the cocktail hour, he came up to me and said he loved the music I was spinning. I said thank you so much! He said he was getting married in September, and he would love to grab some of my info. I gave him my card and told him to definitely reach out.

Fast forward to this past Saturday, I DJ’ed the Diffenderfer wedding! Luke and Claire are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I was really looking forward to being with them on their big day.

They had their cocktail hour and reception at the Iris Club in Lancaster. I had never spun there before, and it was a blast to finally do so. Very cool spot, another hidden gem in Lancaster County.

Dinner hour was filled with Motown and some older classics from Sam Cooke to the Four Tops, and Marvin Gaye to James Brown.

The dance floor was jumping all night. Luke and Claire’s family and friends were just amazing, and ready to party from song #1!

The end of the night came quickly, and with the last song of the night playing, (Nicki Minaj – “The Night Is Still Young,” Luke grabbed Claire’s hand and brought her on the stage. It was a very cool moment seeing them have so much fun, and taking in the moment. Everyone just turned towards the stage and celebrated the two of them. It was a really special sight to see.
