Andrew checking in here with a throwback to Saturday, September 26 when I celebrated with the new Mr. and Mrs. Max and Jordan Fasnacht at Lauxmont Farms.
The day was gorgeous and the Rotunda at Lauxmont provides an awesome view of the Susquehanna. The ceremony was short, but sweet and really showcased their personalities with the music selections, M83, Ingrid Michaelson for processionals and Stevie Wonder for the recessional.
After dinner and some touching toasts from Jordan’s dad, her maid of honor and the best man, it was time to start the dancing. Max and Jordan had given me a great list of music to build their night from, spanning from the 70s to today and including a lot of classic 90s hip-hop. Max and a lot of his friends are also fans of late 90s and early 2000s punk music and it showed in their song selection. The cake cutting was to “Always” by Blink 182 and the dancing included “What’s My Age Again,” “Fat Lip” by Sum41, and “Thrash Unreal” by Against Me! This genre holding a special place with myself, it was fun to play it at such an awesome wedding!
The party went strong all night and everyone had a blast dancing to a variety of musical styles. Thanks again Max and Jordan for having me be a part of your big day!
